San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band Leads Veterans Day Parade To Honor End of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell (DADT) Policy in the Military

To honor the end of the U.S. military’s Don’t Ask Don’t Tell (DADT) policy, the organizers of the 92nd Annual Veterans Day Parade have invited the San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band to march as Honorary Lead Contingent this year. The parade steps off on Market Street at 11 am, on Friday, November 11, the precise anniversary of the signing of the WWII armistice that Veterans Day marks.
