Bruce Sinor

Bruce has been an active member of the band since October 2000 and plays French Horn. He has served on the band’s board of directors and held numerous leadership positions over the years. He has been the force behind countless fundraising projects, partnering with many local businesses such as Eureka Valley Barbershop, The Bateman Group (also a major advertiser in Band programs), Harmony Ridge Resort, to name a few. Bruce also serves as the band’s leather liaison at many of the local leather events such as Folsom Street Fair and fundraisers at the Eagle’s Sunday beer busts.

In 2002 Bruce was elected to the board of the Lesbian & Gay Band Association and from 2003-2005 he served as LGBA’s VP of Fundraising. A few of his accomplishments include a partnership with Ebay’s fundraising program “MissionFish,” securing necessary funds to purchase Team Band uniforms at Gay Games VI, Chicago.

In 2008, Bruce was one of five other musicians who founded the Bay Area Rainbow Symphony. He is also a French horn player with the West County Winds, a community wind ensemble sponsored by Contra Costa College.

Bruce is an active volunteer with the Bare Chest Calendar and AIDS Emergency Fund programs and proudly serves on the board of directors for the Jon Sims Endowment Fund for the Performing Arts.
