Dance-Along Nutcracker 2012 – Why Sponsor?

Why Sponsor?

The folks who sponsor either as Celebrity Sponsors or through Cast the Gala are the heart of the Dance-Along Nutcracker, providing support and filling seats at the annual fundraiser for the San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band. Our sponsors keep the Freedom Band playing in the community all year long and support the Band’s Community Ticket Grant Program, providing free tickets to Bay Area non-profits.

Music For The Holidays

Thanks to our sponsors, Dance-Along Nutcracker tickets are granted every year to folks who might not otherwise celebrate the holidays with such gay aplomb. Over the past 15 years, our sponsors provided tickets to hundreds of clients and employees, children and adults, from more than 100 community service providers and non-profit organizations, including these groups:

Glide Memorial United Methodist Church – Family Services Branch
Marin AIDS Project
Lyon Martin Women’s Health Services
New Conservatory YouthAware Educational Theatre Program
St. Francis Lutheran Church Senior Center
S.F. Network Ministries Safe House
Shanti Project
Singers of the Streets (S.O.S.)
Toolworks
