The Big Blow Concert

The San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band performs “The Big Blow” – a concert featuring band classics. Conducted by Artistic Director Jadine Louie, this 2011-12 Community Concert season Spring concert features a rich variety of music styles and colors that show off the versatile tonality of our woodwind, brass, and percussion. There will be two performances:

THE BIG BLOW is the Spring performance of the 2011-12 Community Concert Series of the San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band, named the Official Band of the City of San Francisco. The SFLGFB is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and is proud to be sponsored in part by Grants for the Arts of the San Francisco Hotel Tax Fund, the Jon Sims Endowment Fund for the Performing Arts (www.jsef.org) and the SF LGBT Pride Parade and Committee.
