It takes a lot of money and hard work to keep a multi-faceted musical group like this going for 34 years. Fortunately, SFLGFB is blessed with a group of generous donors who believe in our mission and support it with cash and in-kind donations. Some of these donors are the Band’s own members and their families & friends. There are also donations generously made by our audience members, as well as businesses large and small. Several large corporations with gift-matching programs also grace our donors list. Good old-fashioned fundraisers like garage sales and bake sales are held yearly and can be lots of fun. SFLGFB is also affiliated with businesses including Cole Hardware and Community Thrift.

A gift of appreciated stocks and/or bonds is a simple and tax-effective way to support The Band. For appreciated securities held longer than one year you can deduct the full fair market value of a stock or bond donation. The Band has a Fidelity Account for accepting donated securities.
